Biography:
Prof. dr hab. Andrzej Babuchowski graduated with Honour in Food Technology in 1973 on University of Agriculture in Olsztyn, Poland. In 2003, he was granted a Titular Professor. From 1976 till 2017 he was working at University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland and in different research institutions abroad. In years 2005-2009, he was Head of the Department of Industrial and Food Microbiology at the University. All his academic activities were related to food and dairy technology, fermentation technologies, technical biotechnology, food safety and quality, food and nutrition. Currently he is a President of Dairy Industry Innovation Institute as from 2015.
